Shoreham v Jersey U13

The match began with Jersey asserting dominance early. Their swift and precise execution led to two quick tries in the first half, showcasing their attacking prowess. The opening try came within minutes, with their forwards bulldozing through to allow Soren to cross the line. The second try came as Jersey’s backline combined seamlessly to breach Shoreham’s defense with Heath scoring in the corner. Shoreham bounced back with a couple of speedy tries with Jersey replying with a further 2 before half time.

The second half saw a revitalized Shoreham side gaining a foothold in the game, and they responded with 2 impressive tries midway through the half, narrowing the gap to 6-4. Shoreham’s defensive efforts tightened, and they matched Jersey's physicality in the breakdowns.

However, Jersey held their nerve in the closing stages and sealed the game at 9-4.

While Shoreham showed resilience and determination, Jersey’s early burst and composed finish ensured their well-deserved victory.
